AI for everyone to use

Promise of AI is overwhelming. Simultaneously digital content is driving audiences all the more addicted, all the more dumber and all the more misguided. Gone is enlightment and all we have is bread and circuses which we enjoy as AI generates everything. And then AI takes all white collar jobs.

Partly true but maybe not totally. Most likely as all other tech also AI will become personal. In the age of first super-computers the argument was that world needs only 4 or 5 such magnificent machines. Then we got personal computers (PC). After that we got personal mobile phones. So has also Nvidia realized and published desktop AI machines for developers, check e.g. DGX Spark. The logic is irrefutable: soon we all use our own personal AIs which we train and cultivate the best way we can. Or more precisely, those who choose to use AI agents for their activities and enlightment and not float freely in AI generated multiverse and enjoy the lightness of not knowing anything till the end of life.

When you really start englighting personal AI and personal doings the question of data becomes a focal point. Of course this is something we have seen in current (early) versions of AI as data is in high demand to train AI. In similar fashion a person who is safeguarding personal AI also can acquire data for it just like in the age of englightment acquiring books and writings and reading, discussing contents ie. data gathering was the main driver for developing one’s own thinking and skills. Who has the best data and look into it from different perspectives will have the best personal AI.

It remains to be seen if this logic holds. Truly hope it will.
